Camp Director
Katherine Allen
"Sparrow"

Degrees in Psychology (BA) and Dance Education (BFA and MA)

After college, I danced with a traveling dance company that taught science through dance. As I continued my higher education I learned more about how children absorb knowledge through a variety of ways. Traditional classrooms center on visual and auditory learning which leaves kids anxious, fidgety, and bored. I am on a mission to change that. I have created a multi-faceted camp curriculum that centers on movement and hands-on experiences to bring learning to life.

He hopes to put these goals into practice professionally by becoming involved in teaching, education administration, parent education, or teacher training. He is excited to be a part of Better Brain Camp and to see if he really has what it takes to launch into a career in education!
